DQ Trans LLC's Terms of Service

1. Brokerage Services

DQ Trans LLC (MC #01648063 / USDOT #4251528) operates exclusively as a licensed transportation broker. We:

  • Maintain $75,000 FMCSA-required surety bond
  • Vet all carriers for active operating authority and insurance
  • Do not own/operate transport vehicles or assume liability for shipments

2. Client Responsibilities & Liability

Vehicle Inspection & Documentation

You must verify at pickup/delivery:

  • Driver identity and carrier credentials
  • Vehicle condition (match to Bill of Lading)
  • Correct pickup/delivery addresses

Recommended Protections

  • Photograph vehicle with driver present at loading/unloading
  • Confirm all details on Bill of Lading before signing
  • Retain all shipment documentation

Liability Notice:
DQ Trans LLC is not responsible for loss, damage, or delays occurring after carrier pickup. Claims must be filed directly with the transporting carrier per their insurance terms.

3. Cancellation Policy

4. Vehicle Preparation

Required Preparations

  • Remove all personal items 
  • Disarm alarms and provide keys
  • Disclose inoperable status or modifications
  • Maintain ≤¼ tank of fuel

5. Payment Terms

Accepted Methods

  • Zelle/ACH (preferred)
  • Credit/Debit (+6% fee)
  • COD (Delivery Only): Cash (exact change)

Late Payments

  • 1.5% monthly interest
  • +6% processing fee for credit cards

6. Claims Process

  1. Inspect Immediately: Note damages on BOL at delivery
  2. File Within 24 Hours: Directly with carrier’s insurance
  3. Our Support: Provide documentation but do not adjudicate claims

7. Legal Provisions

Hold Harmless Agreement

Client releases DQ Trans LLC from all transport-related claims, except for proven broker gross negligence.

Dispute Resolution

  • Governed by Florida law
  • Arbitration in Palm Beach County, FL
